Base Operations Support Services (BOSS), Facility Operations Support Services (FOSS) and Logistics Management Support

For this functional area, we provide knowledgeable personnel who can provide assistance in the smooth operation of military installations. This service can be provided through a variety of means ranging from IT services to routine repair / operation of equipment. Some examples highlight our work including:

Vehicle Wash Racks

TSI personnel provided logistic support for the installation and operation of vehicle wash racks at a variety of Army installation in Hawaii. Working with the manufacturer, we adapted these systems to ensure that any foreign plant / or animal life would not affect our native species.

Facility Management and Training Services for the Training Support Center at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

A five-year contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, our responsibilities included Training Aids and Devices (TADS), Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement Systems (M.I. – L.E.S) and Virtual Reality Simulators / Trainers for vehicles including Stryker and HMMWV. Examples of Training Aid Devices (TADS) include M-16 and M-4 Carbine Weapons used for bayonet training. TSI issues, inspects and maintains all items for this critical training program. This extensive inventory (approximately 19,000 items) are strictly maintained using the Government Furnished Property List (GFPL) and includes Stinger, Javelin, AT-4, RPG transmitters that fire laser beams for war gaming / simulator support services.

MWR Facility Management and Program Management in Guam

This was a multi-year Base Support Services contract. TSI provided the labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide operation and maintenance services at ten (10) facilities including the Charles King Gym, the Body Works Fitness Center, NCTS North Finegayan Sports Center, Outdoor Recreation Facilities, the Auto Skills Center, the Aquatics Facilities and the NBG Main Pool, the Naval Hospital Pool, the NCTS North Finegayan Pool, the Gab Gab and San Luis Beaches and the NBG Library. This project demonstrated the ability of TSI to successfully manage government contracts that are multifaceted with numerous simultaneous activities and at multiple locations.
